Full Donor ListI will be cycling in the Baby Dragon 180 Ride on September 25-26, 2010, to raise money for the the Mental Health, Crystal Meth Recovery and Homeless LGBT Youth Services at the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center.
After the tragic loss of a loved one (whose nickname was Baby Dragon), family and friends created The Baby Dragon Fund to help those in our community, especially youth, find alternatives when dealing with addiction and mental health issues. The Baby Dragon 180 Ride was established to enhance the funding of these very important programs.
I have experienced the very difficult process of finding help for a loved one struggling with issues of addiction and the mental health issues that often come hand in hand. Together, I hope we can make it easier for others dealing with these very serious challenges to find help in places that can serve them with dignity and respect.
Please help me help the many people served by the Center's services. With the help of my amazing friends, I raised over $1,000 in FIVE DAYS. I have increased my goal to $1,500 with the hope that we can produce some additional funds to support these critical services. Thank you for your support!
