TheAdobe Flash CS4 Professional software is the most advanced authoring environment for rich, interactive content creation. During this 10-hour course, students will learn the basics of building a Flash CS4 website with interactivity, video, components and animation. This is an introductory course and no prior knowledge of Adobe Flash is necessary.

This course is especially for Web masters who wish to create professional animations, design interactive websites and incorporate audio and video into self-contained presentations. The course covers the use of drawing and color tools, mastering the essentials of animation and working with type, graphics, sound and video.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

     Drawing and Color Tool Basics
     Creating and Editing Symbols
     Using the Timeline and Layers
     Learning the Basics of Symbols and the Flash Library
     Using Filters and Blend Modes
     Animation with the Timeline Flash CS4
     Working with Sound and Video
     Introduction to ActionScript 3.0

Prerequisites: Because of the amount of material to be covered in this course we do require students to be proficient using a mouse, opening and saving files and the general operations of computers. While we will make every reasonable effort to help students with insufficient skills, some students may be required to observe the class lessons or do their best to keep up without slowing down the rest of the class.

David loves to share his experience and fascination with the Web to help others develop their own Internet businesses.

All applications must be received by the enrollment deadline posted above.To register in-person bring the completed application form to The Village Ticket Booth by the enrollment deadline. "Day-of" registration is not available for this course. Ticket Booth Hours are Monday - Friday, 6-9 pm and Saturdays 9 am-4 pm. If you call and the Ticket Booth is closed or busy, leave a message on our 24hr phone service and we will call you back. 

SENIOR/STUDENT DISCOUNTS
Learning Curve is happy to offer seniors (55 and over) and currently enrolled college or university students 10% off the regular advertised enrollment fee. Senior/student discounts are not applicable or available for classes where an additional discount is automatically applied and are noted "No Additional Discounts". In order to claim a senior/student discount, applicant must register in-person at the Village Ticket Booth prior to the above referenced "enrollment close date/time deadline." Discount applicants must show valid proof of age (55 or over) or a valid student I.D. Discount enrollment is not available online.
