This free, weekly, ongoing workshop provides people living with HIV/AIDS a safe space to express their thoughts and feelings about what they are experiencing in their daily lives. In-class exercises foster artistic expression through the written word. The workshop features presentations from guest authors as well as the opportunity to participate in public readings. All levels welcomed. Pre-interview required. Workshop is currently on summer hiatus. Calls will be returned and meetings will continue starting in mid-September, 2009.

Gay & Lesbian Center's Learning Curve program. The Center reserves the right to refuse entry to any person whose needs do not coincide with the intended goals of this workshop. In our attempt to ensure that this workshop remain a safe and private place for those who need such a space, The Center has taken necessary steps to ensure the integrity of this workshop. Once it has been determined that this workshop is an appropriate match for your needs, you will be added to the roster and will be given logistical information about the workshop (i.e. location, dates and times.) No person will be admitted into the workshop without first calling-in and participating in this process. This is not a "drop-in" group and is not considered a part of The Center's Conversation Groups program. The Center reserves the right to cancel, change or move this group without notice.
