Have you always wanted to learn to speak Spanish? Well, now is the time! This fun and interactive course is the perfect way to quench that desire.

Whether you’ve always wanted to learn the language, you need to learn it to earn a promotion or you want to communicate with your partner’s family and friends, you can learn new language skills and gain the ability to have simple conversations in Spanish faster than you ever thought possible.

This six-week course will allow you to communicate through extensive interaction with your fellow students and instructor. The lessons will cover a variety of themes that will enable you to talk about yourself and others and make new friends, navigate through general social interactions, and even woo the Latin hotty at the bar. How about that?

Class exercises will teach you general vocabulary and help you acquire basic listening, speaking, reading and writing skills in Spanish (500–1000 words). You will also learn about cultural similarities and differences between the U.S. and the Spanish-speaking world.

By the end of this course, you will have gained a solid foundation and knowledge that will allow you to speak and be able to express yourself in this beautiful romance language.

INSTRUCTOR Jesús Arellano is a native of Guadalajara, México. He earned his MA in Spanish from California State University- Los Angeles, where he recently returned as a college-level Spanish language instructor. Jesús also taught for Kaplan and teaches Spanish at New West Charter and Beverly Hills Lingual Institute. Jesús holds a DACE preliminary credential and will soon obtain a California state certification as a Spanish Court Interpreter.

Print and send completed form to The Village Ticket Booth as instructed at the bottom of the application. All applications must be received by the enrollment deadline posted above.To register in-person bring the completed application form to The Village Ticket Booth by the enrollment deadline. "Day-of" registration is not available for this course. Ticket Booth Hours are Monday - Friday, 6-9 pm and Saturdays 9 am-4 pm. If you call and the Ticket Booth is closed or busy, leave a message on our 24hr phone service and we will call you back. 

SENIOR/STUDENT DISCOUNTS
Learning Curve is happy to offer seniors (55 and over) and currently enrolled college or university students 10% off the regular advertised enrollment fee. Senior/student discounts are not applicable or available for classes where an additional discount is automatically applied and are noted "No Additional Discounts". In order to claim a senior/student discount, applicant must register in-person at the Village Ticket Booth prior to the above referenced "enrollment close date/time deadline." Discount applicants must show valid proof of age (55 or over) or a valid student I.D. Discount enrollment is not available online.
