As a young girl growing up in rural N. Carolina, Ashleigh Sumner was inspired by the unharnessed, pulsating energy of faraway cities. She moved west to pursue her acting career (Dawson's Creek, CSI, Crossing Jordan) and was captivated by the movement, lines and rhythms of L.A.'s urban landscapes.
Through bold, abstract expression, Sumner evokes a powerful sense of unrestrained vitality.
