- Homeless young lesbians and bisexual women receive basic life-sustaining services at the Jeff Griffith Youth Center, which provides meals, showers, laundry facilities, clothes, counseling, HIV/AIDS testing, job skills training and a GED preparation program.
- The Center’s 24-bed transitional living program provides a home for young lesbians and bisexual women with nowhere else to turn, helping them develop the skills and resources to live independently.
Learning Curve
- Many women enroll in courses provided by the Center’s Learning Curve Program, which regularly offers classes in career development; performance & fine arts; intimacy & self-improvement; health & relaxation, and computer skills, to name a few.
Seniors Program
- Many of the active members of the Center’s Seniors Program are women. The Seniors Program serves LGBT seniors, ages 50 and over, and offers many classes and workshops, including exercise, yoga, dance, language studies, art, and spirituality.
