The Anniversary Gala is our premiere fundraising event of the year, attended by Los Angeles’ most important leaders in the civic, corporate, entertainment and philanthropic communities to fete the Center and to honor the contributions of those who have made such a difference in our community. Proceeds from the Anniversary Gala help fund the programs and services of the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center.

This year, we are pleased to have the outrageously hilarious Chelsea Handler as our host. We will honor the outspoken and very funny Wanda Sykes with the Rand Schrader Distinguished Achievement Award, the outlandish Miss Coco Peru (aka Clinton Leupp) with the Board of Directors Award and the friendliest airline in the sky for those who are OUT, American Airlines, with the Corporate Vision Award as voted for by YOU!

	Chelsea Handler The host of the Center’s 38th Anniversary Gala and Auction is the hilarious Chelsea Handler, the queen of late night comedy, host of E! network’s hit show Chelsea Lately and best-selling author. Known for her edgy, comedic take on pop culture, Handler is one of the LGBT community’s greatest straight allies and was an outspoken opponent of Prop. 8.
	Jay Leno Jay Leno, star of The Jay Leno Show, will present the Rand Schrader Distinguished Achievement Award to Wanda Sykes.
	Zachary Quinto Zachary Quinto, co-star of J.J. Abrams' 2009 hit movie Star Trek, will present the Board of Directors Award to Miss Coco Peru.
	Amber Riley Special performance by Amber Riley, co-star of Glee
