Oklahoma native Kelly Mantle (the nephew of NY Yankee great Mickey Mantle!) is a veteran of numerous primetime TV shows, stage and films. He learned early on how to use the power of gender duality to knock the conservative townsfolk out of their comfort zone.
Hilarious, lyrical and moving, Mantle's play-with-music seizes that power to confuse, illuminate and advance the ongoing drive for equality.
Sparkling with original songs and astutely chosen covers, and featuring tales that range from playing the Bible’s Eve as transgendered to a true-life encounter with George W. Bush, The Confusion of My Illusio serves as Mantle’s personal battle cry in the tradition of the gender-benders at Stonewall.

Kelly's theatrical homage to the music legend has thrilled audiences and critics across the nation, and now he brings Paved Paradise to the Renberg!
The concept is simple: Joni Mitchell in concert, with Kelly on vocals, guitar and dulcimer, backed by piano and bass. Featuring songs from every stage of Joni's career, the "book" consists entirely of her own words. The original arrangements are intact, and Kelly's original-key recreation of her vocals is uncanny.
