Learning Curve is the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center’s adult-education, personal enrichment and empowerment program (a state-accredited institute of higher learning.) It is specifically designed to help elevate the lives of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people through a wide variety of powerful, fun and educational classes, workshops, seminars, panel discussions, conferences and special events.
In some cases Learning Curve offers courses similar to classes offered at other facilities, but ours are always presented in a safe, nurturing and LGBT-friendly environment. Generally, Learning Curve offers its professional-level courses at a fraction of what they would cost elsewhere.

TO ENROLL:
If online registration has opened, click on "REGISTER NOW", accept Learning Curve's Terms & Conditions of enrollment then follow the screen directions. Everyone who registers online, will be enrolled for the senior/student discount rate. If online registration is not yet available you may still register by phone, mail, fax or in-person. All types of enrollment for this course will close at 5 p.m. the day before the class is scheduled to begin. To register by phone, call The Village Ticket Booth at 323.860.7300 x3. To register by mail or fax, download a Learning Curve class Registration Form. Complete the form and send it to The Village Ticket Booth as instructed on the application. All applications must be received by the enrollment deadline for each class.To register in-person, download a Registration Form, complete it and bring it to The Village Ticket Booth by the enrollment deadline. "Day-of" registration is not available for most courses. Ticket Booth Hours are Tuesday - Friday, 6-9pm and Saturdays 9am-4pm. If you call and the Ticket Booth is closed or busy, leave a message on our 24hr phone service and we will call you back.
SENIOR & STUDENT DISCOUNTS:
Learning Curve is happy to offer all senior citizens and college or adult school students a discounted enrollment fee which is lower than the regular advertised price. Senior/Student prices are equal to the online discount prices listed above. In order to claim a senior/student discount price you must register in-person at The Village Ticket Booth. Valid proof of senior (55 or over) or enrolled student status is required. Seniors and students are encouraged to register online for the same price and save yourself the time and trouble of registering in-person. |
